Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Office Nurse to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring and training: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring nurses, and developing training programs
- Scheduling: Creating work schedules to ensure enough nurses for each shift
- Performance reviews: Setting goals and evaluating the performance of nurses and other staff
- Budgeting: Maintaining the budget and reporting on financial matters
- Policies and procedures: Developing policies and procedures for medical staff, and ensuring compliance
- Communication: Facilitating communication between nurses and other hospital workers, as well as with physicians and executives
- Conflict resolution: Handling complaints from patients, doctors, and nurses, and mediating conflicts between nurses
- Other: Overseeing projects, helping decide on equipment purchases, and verifying staff credentials
- Perform nursing assessments and provide appropriate care to patient.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in nursing, preferably in an office or clinical setting
- Knowledge of physiology and healthcare practices
- Familiarity with hospital medicine and nursing home protocols
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques
- Understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Ability to provide health coaching and patient education
