TFE currently has multiple Structural Engineer positions to fill supporting work on the design and repurposing of the Mixed Oxide Fuel (MOX) facility to the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF).
The purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge and leadership as described below. This position has oversight of a specific area and acts as a representative of the engineering discipline ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases. This is a lead position on assigned projects performing engineering assignments of advanced complexity.

Provide technical direction to assigned engineers

Conduct construction document reviews as required

Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and
construction phases of engineering projects -
Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses
and design, and bracing analyses and design -
Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required

Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation,
construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering -
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized
(nuclear or other areas) engineering design -
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
