POSITION NAME: Environmental Technician
LOCATION: Tulsa Headquarters
Purpose:
The Environmental Technician is responsible for supporting environmental projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This entry-level position involves fieldwork, data collection, and reporting.
Principle Activities and Essential Function:

Conduct fieldwork to collect soil, water, air, and other environmental samples.

Operate and maintain field equipment used for sampling and monitoring.

Follow established protocols to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

Record and manage data from field samples and environmental monitoring.

Assist in analyzing data to identify trends and potential environmental impacts.

Prepare and maintain detailed logs and reports of findings.

Conduct regular monitoring of environmental conditions at various sites.

Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of monitoring equipment.

Report any irregularities or potential environmental hazards to supervisors.

Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Assist in preparing documentation and reports required for regulatory compliance.

Participate in environmental audits and inspections as needed.

Provide support for environmental assessments, remediation projects, and other environmental initiatives.

Assist in the development and implementation of environmental plans and strategies.

Work with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma
-
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.

No prior work experience required; internship or coursework related to environmental science is a plus.

Basic understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
