The Principal, Technical Product Management role is a key strategic role designed to drive the seamless integration of our digital technologies and marketing platforms. This role serves as the crucial link between our Product and Technology teams, facilitating the ability to have a consistent Technology Roadmap aligned with our Product vision. It is tasked with harmonizing technical strategies across the company to foster the creation of integrated, customer-centric digital experiences that enhance our Omnichannel customer engagement across Digital and Marketing Technology platforms, it will also need strong collaboration with our Retail IT Technology and Product teams
Reporting to the SVP Digital, Data and Marketing Technologies, the Principal, Technical Product Management role coordinates the alignment of digital and marketing technologies and its product roadmap. The Principal Technical Product Manager ensures that both new initiatives and existing operations leverage the full capabilities of our digital and marketing resources, always in synergy with our Product Organizations (Digital, Marketing Technologies and Retail IT).
This ecosystem will serve as the digital backbone of our marketing operations, supporting brand strategies across our diverse portfolio and ensuring that technology investments are aligned with business objectives.
As a central figure in the digital and marketing technology landscapes, the Principal, Technical Product Management role will forge strong collaborative relationships with product managers, principals and enterprise architecture, ensuring that every technology decision and integration is guided by a deep understanding of product vision(s) and user needs. This role requires someone who can speak the language of both technology and product fluently, translating product requirements and roadmaps into technical specifications and vice versa.
The nature of the role is both tactical and strategic. On one hand, the Principal, Technical Product Management position will dive into the technical details, piecing together systems and solutions to build an integrated digital and marketing technologies reference architecture. On the other hand, he/she will step back to see the bigger picture, steering the technology roadmap and ensuring it aligns with our long-term product vision. By bridging the gap between product ambitions and technological capabilities, the Principal, Technical Product Management role will be an agent of change.
