Akira Technologies is looking for Data Analyst to help support the US Navy's Digital Transformation Office (DTO) with development of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Tableau dashboard.
This will be managed through final development tasks, validations, testing, and to prepare tool for launch and change management with users. Candidate will have experience with Tableau for development activities and Tableau Prep to complete validation tasks and ETL from ADE or other external source systems/data extracts. Candidate would also have functional skills to be able to assist with conveying status to the internal DTO team & client, and to help develop technical / change management documentation for deployment and roll out.
Ideal candidate must be local to the DC Metro Area, however hybrid support is available. Active Secret clearance is also required.

Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience with Tableau development experience to complete development tasks

2+ years with Tableau Prep experience to understand dashboard outputs, build new ETL outputs based on net new data sources (e.g., ADE, external data sources, data extracts), validate the underlying data, and/or update data source paths.

Experience with data engineering and data architecture.

Experience with ETL methodology and/or creating data models and able to join multiple data sources into a model for accurate and efficient rendering of outputs

Experience leading technical review with clients and stakeholders

Experience with status reporting to include formal preparation of status reports/ documentation and presentation to clients

Experience working with government systems (i.e., Authoritative Date Environment (ADE) or ADVANA Jupiter) is preferred

Experience working with Navy is preferred

Must have a SECRET clearance

Local to DC area strongly preferred, but virtual/hybrid support available
