Fat Shack is seeking candidates for kitchen positions at our location in Orlando next to the UCF Campus! We are a quick-service restaurant franchise specializing in Fat Sandwiches (think Chicken Fingers, French Fries, and Mozzarella Sticks all in the same sandwich) and Deep-Fried Desserts (Oreos, Twinkies, Cheesecake Bites). Our first location opened in Fort Collins, CO in 2011. We have 30 locations in 12 states spread throughout the US. In 2019, Fat Shack appeared on Shark Tank and struck a deal with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
Kitchen staff will be involved in every part of the business, and have numerous responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Preparing, Cooking, and Serving all menu items
- Guest Service including taking orders in-person and over the phone
- Daily cleaning and weekly/monthly deep-cleaning duties
We are currently hiring positions for night shift positions. Because we are a late night restaurant, we are open until 1am Sunday-Thursday, and 3am Friday and Saturday. Please consider this when applying. We are currently looking for part-time employees, at around 20 hours per week.
We accept applicants with all levels and types of experience. All new employees will be thoroughly trained, and all training will be paid. We are flexible with scheduling and time-off requests. Pay depends on experience and performance during training, and ALL our employees are provided with a unique opportunity for advancement (HALF of our store owners are former Kitchen Staff).
