We are seeking a driven and analytical Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our company's financial health and strategic decision-making. You will leverage your expertise in financial modeling and Prophix to build robust forecasts, analyze financial performance, and partner with business units to drive growth. This is a remote opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Prophix to build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, with a focus on FP&A best practices.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare insightful financial reports, including variance analysis, rolling forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, gathering data, collaborating with departments, and presenting recommendations.
- Conduct research and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, or other FP&A projects.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a similar role.
- Proven experience using Prophix software for FP&A tasks like budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent financial modeling and spreadsheet skills (Excel).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
