MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Location- Norwalk, CT
King Industries, Inc. is actively looking to hire a Marketing Communications Manager within the Marketing department. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, with 5-8 years of experience. Responsibilities will include supporting the company’s product lines and growth of business through marketing strategy, vision, direction and projects with staff and departmental key leaders.

- Excellent computer skills: Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) Microsoft Office (Publisher, Power Point, Excel).
- Knowledge of Sales CRM and marketing automation software.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- Master of Arts in Interactive Media, preferred but not required.
- 5-8 years relevant experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support product lines and growth of business.
- Develop promotional budget (PO requests, invoice approval).
- Develop and maintain Global opportunity/activities calendar.
- Create and maintain the marketing strategy, vision, direction and projects with staff and departmental key leaders.
- Ensure marketing processes are up to date and functioning properly in accordance with the marketing operations guide.
- Management of events: concept strategy, implementation, communication and participation, travel, set-up, and customer lead results tracking.
- Support marketing staff, product line managers, agents and reps, division managers and international sales teams to ensure marketing collateral is meeting their needs and goals.
- Manage and mentor marketing staff and their performance in completing department goals and objectives annually through performance reviews.
- Assist with managing website with marketing and technical staff Note: Content planning.
- Ensure cohesive messaging, activities, and promotions across international markets in all platforms (digital, print, etc....).
- Maintain knowledge of local and international technical markets/needs to ensure effective product positioning in competitive landscapes.
- Maintain key customer awareness and knowledge.
- Review call and sample reports for trend analysis and reporting.
- Work with sales team to understand and promote core products.
- Maintain base knowledge of core product.
- Participate in the new product development process including:
- Participate in product reviews.
- Evaluate against marketing strategy.
- Competitive product/benchmarking
- Create and manage “launch and track” process for new product introductions.
- Create and manage new product tracking, analysis and reporting process.
- Work with business and product line managers to get customer feedback (Domestic and International)
- Participate in annual product line reviews for slow moving/low growth products and support where needed.
- Editorial contributions – work with senior technical staff on landing editorial contributions.
- Participate in company wide effort to promote Quality Assurance in compliance with ISO 9001 and maintain a general knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support all marketing related activities where needed.
