PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the proposal development process from initiation to submission, ensuring that proposals are compelling, well-structured, and meet all requirements.
- Manages and mentors a team of proposal managers and specialists providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality proposals.
- Assesses and improves proposal development processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Oversees the review and editing of proposal documents and contract documents, ensuring compliance with department and company standards along with all legal, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Synchronizes the development of proposal schedules with proposal managers ensuring that deadlines are met, and all submission requirements are fulfilled.
- Collaborates with other departments to develop winning bid strategies, including pricing, technical solutions, and competitive positioning.
- Stimulates engagement and interface with clients and partners to understand needs, addresses concerns, and provides excellent customer service throughout the proposal process.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years Project Management/Proposal Management
- A./B.S. in Business/Construction Management or equivalent work experience
