The Front of House Lead plays a pivotal role within Qube, overseeing the Front of House (FOH) staff with a focus on leadership, collaboration, and effective communication. This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling and task management to ensure the proper flow of the store.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Opening/Closing Procedures
Opening Responsibilities:
- Ensure the retail facility is prepared for business by welcoming each person entering the dispensary with a warm, friendly greeting.
- Manage cash-related tasks, including opening registers, verifying starting cash amounts, and preparing change for transactions.
- Conduct thorough checks of delivery equipment and set up according to delivery checklists.
Closing Responsibilities:
- Secure the retail facility by locking doors, arming security systems, and ensuring all safes and cash registers are securely closed.
- Complete cash-related tasks such as cash reconciliation, preparing cash drops, and conducting cash audits.
- Follow closing procedures for delivery equipment, including closing out delivery drawers and uploading reports.
2. Team Management
Breaks and Lunches:
- Schedule and coordinate designated breaks and lunches for team members to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
- Provide support and coverage within different departments such as Sales, Intake, Fulfillment/Delivery Fulfillment, Delivery, and Ecommerce Associate as needed.
- Maintain documentation of team member performance, including conducting regular check-ins and addressing any performance concerns.
Facility Maintenance:
- Oversee cleanliness and orderliness of the entire retail facility, including monitoring cleanliness standards, organizing inventory, and restocking supplies.
- Communicate inventory restocking needs to management and ensure timely action is taken to replenish supplies.
3. Customer Experience
Service Accountability:
- Hold team members accountable for delivering excellent customer service by setting clear expectations and providing training as needed.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
4. Inventory Management (Assist as Needed)
Inventory Tasks:
- Assist with minimal inventory movements on Dutchies software, such as verifying quantities of units available to assist with replenishment.
- Conduct regular product counts to ensure accurate inventory levels on the sales floor and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Process customer returns/exchanges efficiently and accurately, making corresponding inventory movements in the system.
Product Quality and Compliance:
- Report any product issues or concerns to the appropriate channels via Slack, providing detailed information including State Tracking ID and product description.
- Accept and intake product deliveries, accurately recording incoming shipments and ensuring all documentation is uploaded into the Dutchies invoice.
5. Ecommerce/Delivery (Assist as Needed)
Order Fulfillment:
- Monitor the ecommerce fulfillment dashboard to ensure orders progress smoothly from verification pending to Packed & Ready status.
- Assign orders to drivers and ensure timely delivery by coordinating with drivers and providing necessary support.
Driver Management:
- Oversee the dispatching of all delivery orders to drivers in a timely manner, utilizing Dutchies and Dispatch software to track orders and manage delivery driver flow.
- Maintain inventory of delivery driver equipment and reconcile delivery driver debit totals at the end of each shift.
6. Product Knowledge
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Qube's product offerings, including strains, products, delivery methods, potency, proper storage, serving size, and tolerance.
- Educate team members on Qube's product philosophy and ensure they have the necessary knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases to provide accurate information to customers and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in cash handling and excellent customer service skills, including issue resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Understanding of rewards programs and willingness to adapt to changes and assist with tasking as needed.
