Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
Entry level management position that is responsible for the daily operations in Restaurants/Bars and Room Service. Position assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards, assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods and supervises Restaurants/Bars and Room Service Departments, where applicable. Responsibilities include ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable to ensure standards and legal obligations are followed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-
Supervises daily shift operations.

Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager.

Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary.

Conducts daily pre-shift meetings with all staff members; review business levels, VIPS, menu item changes, and any other pertinent information.

Monitor associates to ensure performance expectations are met.

Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels

Monitors staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

Ensures all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.

Provides feedback to associates based on observation of service behaviors.

Communicates to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels.

Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures.

Monitor alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws

Understanding associate positions well enough to perform duties in associates’ absence
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.

OTHER DUTIES
Assimilate into The AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center, the Family PLATINUM SERVICE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PLATINUM SERVICE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Flik from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Mandatory adherence to the Platinum Service process on a daily basis, to include Platinum Service Standards, Guest Elements of Customer Service and the “To Be” Philosophy.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Bartending, Serving, and Basic Barista Knowledge preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.

Be flexible concerning scheduling needs and requirements.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
1 – 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, hotel experience a plus
