Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
-Maintenance Technician assists in all aspects of the property’s maintenance including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
-Maintenance Technician works indoors and outdoors
-Maintenance Technician will need to be on feet, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders, lift, and carry materials and equipment of varying weights constantly
-Maintenance Technician understands the structural integrity of buildings
-Maintenance Technician uses tools and machines safely and correctly
-Maintenance Technician frequently needs to utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors
-Maintenance Technician is responsible for obtaining fair housing certification
-Maintenance Technician requires regular and prompt attendance
-Maintenance Technician is required to maintain the property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
-Maintenance Technician shares 24-hour emergency call duties with the maintenance team.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
-Maintenance experience or related preferred
-HVAC certification
-Electrical and plumbing experience
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Ability to effectively communicate with residents, team members, and prospects.
-Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
-Good organizational skills
-Neat appearance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- EPA Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Pool Operator (Preferred)
