Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
- Provide comprehensive dental care including restorative, endodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery procedures
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures in a safe and comfortable manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
