We are looking for an energetic process engineer to take ownership and responsibility of all process engineering related activities at site. Process Design Engineer will support the plant with following typical process engineering activities including, but not limited to:
- Equipment adequacy checks, PID development, Safety Valve contingency analysis and sizing, equipment specification, hydraulic evaluations, alternative selection, vendor coordination, control valve sizing, PHA closeouts, etc.
- Lead the activities associated with complete scope definition of projects. As such, the successful process engineer will work closely with all involved discipline leads and stake holders to seek their input.
- Take part in incident investigation and take the ownership for process engineering related incidents. In many cases the outcome of incident investigations will ultimately result in a project to improve the facility.
A successful candidate will regularly meet with production engineers to determine what current processes consist of and will collaborate to make adjustments accordingly in line with site overall manufacturing and reliability objectives. They'll also perform risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements could be made to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently.
