Independent Contractor Registered Nurses (RN) Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop individualized care plans.
· Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, medication management, and symptom control.
· Deliver patient education on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
· Adhere to regulatory requirements and standards of practice in all aspects of patient care.
· Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and autonomy in managing patient caseload.
· Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and compliance with care plans.
· Provide supervision of LVNs
· Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the STATE OF TEXAS
- Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficient in using mobile apps for organizational purposes.
