We are looking for a Truckload Sales Broker who can bring their experience and enthusiasm for the transportation industry and add their drive and skills to our team. The primary role of this position is to develop and maintain a book of customers and carriers while driving margin and volume to meet your individual goals. What are we looking for in an ideal candidate?
· Entrepreneurial Spirit with a passion for sales, and a drive to succeed
· Associate degree with two years of experience in truckload transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics preferred but not required
· Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Creative Presentation Skills
· Attention to detail and strong analytical ability with sound financial judgement
· Enthusiastic, persistent, and confident approach
· Strong ability to persuade, motivate, communicate, and influence others
· Strong aptitude for emerging technology as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based platforms

What will you be doing?
Daily Brokerage Specific Responsibilities:
Prospect for new customers with a “hunter” mentality via daily telemarketing, internet, referrals, leads, and networking
Identify and generate new sales opportunities and leads through analysis and discovery, understanding key decision makers and determining the appropriate approach for each type of customer with focus on shipper and manufacturer direct business
Partner with internal team to create a solution based on customer needs, including appropriate pricing strategy, solution implementation and future customer growth potential
Review sales activities and prospective customers with management and maintain accurate and timely updates of activity and customer information in company CRM.
· Brokerage Sales
o Delivering your sales pitch with entrepreneurial spirit to develop and maintain your book of business
o Calling customers daily and following up on potential business
o Quoting customers and providing up-to-date information
o Participating in the growth of new business
o Monitoring, tracking, and tracing loads

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
