Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise in sonography, CT, and medical imaging will play a vital role in providing accurate and high-quality imaging services.
Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the scanning process
- Operate CT scanners to capture detailed images of the patient's anatomy
- Review images to ensure clarity and accuracy
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results
- Maintain patient records and document relevant information
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist
- Proficient in performing CT scans and operating CT scanning equipment
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures and protocols
- Experience with X-Ray, mammography, or other related imaging modalities is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
