Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Security/Home Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in system design, installation, and maintenance of alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control and Security systems. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to not only program and install home theater and various security and home automation devices but also sell them. Responsibilities:
- Install, program, maintain, and repair security alarm wiring and equipment
- Conduct system tests and ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with clients to determine their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan system installations
- Provide training to clients on system operation
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience in alarm system design, installation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for system layout
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and security protocols
- Familiarity with hand tools used in the trade
- Experience in alarm system sales is a plus
- Understanding of computer hardware related to security systems
- Relevant certification in alarm system installation is preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
