General Summary
The Operations Research Analyst collects, processes and performs statistical data analysis. Creates blueprints for data management systems to integrate, centralize, protect and maintain data sources. Responsible for cleaning and organizing data. Assists in re-creating important reports by developing mstr reports and dashboards. Migrates data ingestion from one system to another. Responsible for developing new data ingestions. Works with analytics involving cognitive systems, employee training and dark data exploration. Reviews and conducts deep dive analysis on safety data. Works on data warehouse, business intelligence and analytics. Performs tasks assigned by data & analytics manager. Follows all KS industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures.

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Essential Job Functions
1. Understanding of RDBMS database systems and data warehousing concepts to efficiently transform transactional data into structured data marts utilizing star and snowflake schema.
2. Programming languages such as SQL and Python to reconstruct and analyze large datasets effectively.
3. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify business challenges and develop innovative solutions using data analysis and modeling techniques.
4. Experience with cloud-based data visualization platforms to develop analytical dashboards with clear representations of KPI metrics.
5. Ability to interpret and communicate complex findings and insights from data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Experience with Business Intelligence concepts such as Descriptive and Predictive analytics to derive insights and promote data-driven decision-making.
7. Understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure to leverage cloud-based data warehousing solutions for scalable data processing and optimized querying.
8. Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations to ensure data protection and compliance while working with sensitive information.
9. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.
