SUMMARY
The Business Strategy Manager is responsible for supporting the Business Strategy, Culinary, Purchasing, Restaurant Accounting and IT departments through development, testing and validation of all product recipes, documentation of all necessary POS/OLO/DSP/Catering download requests, managing restaurant small-wares ordering websites with vendors, reporting on restaurant product inventory as necessary throughout promotions, and promotion results reporting as assigned.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain recipe spreadsheets as product costs and prices are adjusted

Work in partnership with R&D and Purchasing to create recipes for all products including -

updates to existing menu items
-
new LTO product recipes
-
catering recipes
-
Develop recipes for impact of LTO items in partnership with Marketing

Validate, accurately record and update product yields within recipes in partnership with R&D
-
Record and submit documentation for downloads to POS/OLO/DSPs/Monkey for approval process

Recipe Change Form (RCF) approved by Supervisor and submitted to IT / Restaurant Accounting

Download Request Form (DR) approved by Supervisor and submitted to IT

Audit recipes after Restaurant Accounting input into Crunchtime system to validate accuracy

Conduct competitive pricing studies across markets
- Assist Supervisor with spreadsheet documentation, proofing and validating price changes

Finance Spreadsheet to calculate % increase

IT Spreadsheet to confirm download direction

Marketing Menu Board proofing prior to production
-
Manage smallware ordering websites with Acemart and negotiate pricing as costs change
-
Source new small-wares and provide recommendations as required for new or changed items

Manage coding and allocation of vendor invoices prior to approval for Supervisor and/or Accounting

Generate weekly restaurant inventory reports on promotional items, and submit recommendations on necessary inventory shifts for best depletion

Provide promotion reports tracking PDPS on promotional items, and other items upon request

Create quarterly Stars & Dogs report to track PDPS, Pmix, and COS on all menu items

Manage specific Business Strategy projects as project manager, as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelors degree in business field preferred business management, accounting, statistics, research, culinary - but not required if balanced with 5+ years life work experience
- Thorough knowledge of excel spreadsheet creation and formula manipulation

Self-starter with high function ability to work within team environment

Working knowledge of restaurant industry
