Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) must be well versed in utilizing CAM software. Experience in using Solid Works is a plus. Minimum 5 years experience as a lead Machinist, capable of programming/set-up/and operating two to three machines during work shift, including turning centers with live tooling, 3 axis mills as as other equipment.
