This is a support position responsible for keeping the records of financial transactions for their assigned community. They summarize details in written reports or computer files. Reconcile and balance monthly reports. At times may compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business. The Assistant Community Manager/Bookkeeper must be able to work specific days for bookkeeping and collection purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Posting all funds collected and making daily deposits.
- To process correctly any NSF checks, including posting the entry, and notifying the resident.
- To properly complete Move-Out procedures
- To close the books monthly on the assigned date and time. To review and reconcile the monthly reports.
- To assist all leasing associates with all leasing efforts.
- To assist with generating traffic through marketing calls.
- To assist with the planning and implementation of the monthly or quarterly marketing activity plan.
- To obtain renewals on expiring leases
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
