We are GROWING here at HumanN, and we are looking for an awesome Social Media Marketing Manager to join the team! This role will be an important contributor to growing our brand on social and increasing awareness through community engagement and content.
This position reports to the VP of Consumer Engagement and works closely with individuals across the Brand, Product, Sales, Creative, Retention, and Retail teams to bring the voice of our customer to life in social media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead execution of social media strategy and creative content aligned to brand voice and message
- Build out social media content calendar (evergreen and campaign) to effectively support cross-channel initiatives and priorities (Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer, Retail)
- Generate innovative ideas for social creative concepts, spanning from ideation to execution that includes content creation, copywriting, and editing
- Support coordination, styling, and execution of photoshoots or user-generated content with creators
- Identify, facilitate, and coordinate brand collaborations to promote on social media channels
- Responsible for managing the online community, including monitoring comments, direct messages, and replies
- Active social media engagement, copywriting for social posts, and social content creation and editing that includes sourcing social assets required for channel needs
- Collaborate with brand and creative team to refine social media creative, following trends and platform best practices focused on increasing follower growth and engagement
- Manage brand ambassador program
- Social media reporting and analytics including monthly reporting on brand and competitive landscape
- Manage social media resources such as social agency partners or interns
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong understanding and experience in social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Outcome-oriented focused on delivering results

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic team player
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Nutrition or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience working within social media channels for a health and wellness brand, preferably consumer packaged goods
- 2+ years of professional experience as social media coordinator, or similar role
- Experience in creating and editing social media content (copy, image, video)
- Willing to travel to support events and other activities, up to 25%

The HumanN office is located in Austin, TX and this role is open to work a hybrid schedule or remotely if not based in Austin. Candidates in the Austin and Portland areas are highly preferred.
