Title:_* SAP Analyst - MM ABAP
Pay:* $100,000-125000 hourly equivalent (1099)*
Duration: 10 month contract - option to extend
Job Summary:
The Senior SAP MM ABAP Analyst role serves as the principate technical expert on challenging IT projects and includes Materials Management (MM) responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to meet customer requirements. Technical disciplines with responsibility for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand procurement and materials processes, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. The Analyst may also provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to meet customer requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand procurement and materials processes
- Implementing system enhancements
- Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules
- Providing leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel
Required Experience:
- 10 or more years of technical experience providing software engineering planning design analysis and developing complex software models and applications across multiple hardware and software platforms• Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Subject matter expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), including configuration, master data management, and procurement processes
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
- 3 or more years of Federal experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. Four years of documented relevant experience or an Associate's Degree together with two years of documented relevant experience, may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
- Must be able to clear a DoD clearance
- 5 or more years MM experience
- SAP Production Support Experience
- Working knowledge of a Help Desk Support I/T System and Metrics Reporting
- Management of SAP issue/tickets within a team structure
- Ability to work collaboratively with other SAP Functional/Technical teams for issue resolution
- General knowledge of Interface monitoring and error handling processes
- Team lead experience
Program Overview
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an SAP-based system and is the Department of the Navy's (DON) financial and supply information technology system of record. Deployment implementations have concluded, and the Program is now in its sustainment phase, although efforts continue to expand and improve functionality. Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) PMW 220 was designated to provide sustainment services, including lifecycle management, stabilization, optimization, and audit readiness.
