Vice President of Sales
Summary:
The Vice President of Sales will oversee the sales team in all regions in the development of existing and cultivation of new referral sources for Constellation Health Services. The Vice President will have primary responsibility directly and through supervisory and senior leadership roles to meet the objective of expanding the customer base, market share and new business development both directly and via staff development activities.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in business or health related field.
- Five plus years of previous sales and/or marketing experience with measurable results.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Effective organizational, communication, customer service and “closing” skills are required.
- Strong ability to collaborate with operations and clinical/compliance teams.
- Expertise in consultative and needs-based selling techniques.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
- Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, and internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Operations and VP of Clinical/Compliance to drive company growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, initiatives, and programs to maximize revenue growth.
- Utilize and potentially become a power user of Trella Health (CRM) to optimize sales processes.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the sales organization.
- Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for Regional Directors.
- Advises and works collaboratively with the Company President in identifying new business prospects including, location, services, and potential referral sources. Provides key insight and competitive intelligence to target market areas to enhance strategic perspective and contribute to business development activities.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
