Join our company and embark on an exciting career advancement journey from a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Registered Nurse (RN). Our innovative program offers a unique pathway for career growth and professional development.
Membership Program
Upon joining our team as a CNA, you will be enrolled in our membership program. You will be placed to work at a skilled nursing facility as a CNA for a specified set of hours per week. All earnings while working as a CNA will be applied towards membership fees. After three months of membership and passing this probationary period, you will become eligible to enroll in courses towards obtaining either an MA, LVN, or RN certification. Your earnings will continue to contribute towards membership fees, and the membership will grant you a full scholarship to attend the courses.
Work Requirements:
- MA Option: 16 hours of work (2 days each week) for 12 months
- LVN Option: 24 hours of work (3 days each week) for 18 months
- RN Option: 24 hours of work (3 days each week) for 27 months
Applicable courses: Medical Assistant, Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing ( LVN), Associate in Science (RN) ( Florida Program)
*Probationary Period: There is a 3 month probationary period for all options to determine eligibilty for acceptance into the program via this route based on satisfactory work, professionalism, and course prerequsite requirement.
Additional Information:
- Students attend theory classes online for all courses, providing flexibility in their learning schedules. Clinicals are done in person.
- All work is conducted at a skilled nursing facility in the bay area ( e.g San Leandro, Berkeley, or other surrounding areas).
- Students enrolled in the RN program will anticipate traveling to Florida at least 3-4 times for 2 weeks at a time over a two-year period.
- Nursing students must complete all required prerequisites within the first three months of the program. Students complete their specified program around the same time of work completion.
- Students are responsible for supplies associated with program completion and may need to account for travel expenses and accommodation in Florida if attending the ADN (RN) program.
- After preliminary review: An application fee of $100 is required, along with proof of a high school diploma or higher. Students must pass an entrance and screening test and attend a mandatory orientation session.
