Role:
Our Loan Administration Representative will be responsible for servicing all members in all aspects of loan administration, to include but not limited to, service loans, insurance claims and tracking for total loss and ancillary products, CPI, perform audits on vehicle, credit card, Troubled Debt Restructures and personal loans, loan maintenance, loan modifications, charge-offs information and research for members, incoming and outgoing mail, employees and third-party vendors. The Loan Administration Representative also performs miscellaneous duties assigned to the Loan Servicing Department.
The theme of the work is support, service, and quality. Recipients include both internal and external members. Internally, the Loan Administration Representative provides service and support to all channels of the business unit: Central Lending, Credit Solutions, Asset Disposal, Bankruptcy, Legal, Management, Mortgage, HomeX, Member Experience Center, and Financial Centers.
Work Location:
This is an onsite position. Occasional remote work may be available for select positions and is subject to prior approval by management.
What you will be doing:

Performs audits on all consumer loan types

Responds to requests from members and employees for research and loan maintenance.

Provides assistance to members to include modifying accounts, balance information, loan modifications, and information for Soarion products and services.

Performs standard functions relating to loan administration to provide exemplary member service. Resolves routine member service issues through account research, contacting and working with third party vendors, and effectively communicates resolutions to the members and Credit Union staff.

Performs recast/fee reversals and payment research.

Proper and timely documentation, notation and imaging of all documents on all accounts worked.

Mortgage payoffs, Lien Releases, and Verification of Mortgage

Processes third party insurance claims including Credit Life/Disability Insurance updates on loan records and total loss claims and filing.

Processes Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) and associated exception reports, weekly.

Responsible for updating members’ trade-lines with all three credit bureaus.

Reviews assigned activity reports for quality control, verifies transactions and modifications to ensure they were performed accurately. Resolves outstanding issues and aids to ensure transactions are properly completed.

Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of the core objectives of the Loan Servicing Department by understanding each of the work functions within his/her own

area of accountability, their purpose, and impact to the department, members, and the Credit Union.

Adds new skills and capabilities relevant to his/her own personal growth.

Responsible for maintaining updated documented process and procedures of all work functions within his/her scope of work.

Keeps Management informed and/or aware of any deficiencies or gaps within their work systems.

Maintains and secure all passwords and logon information for all systems used.

Effectively handles routine to moderate member calls and complaints with sound judgement. Escalated calls are forwarded to the Loan Servicing Manager.

Participates in the testing, training and implementation of system enhancements or new system integration as directed by management.

Efficiently identifies member needs, research issues, and provide first-call resolution by providing solutions.

Takes ownership of member requests from initial contact through follow-up, if needed.

Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.

Meets daily qualitative and quantitative metrics for self and team to achieve all service, productivity, quality, and sales objectives.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What you'll bring along:

High School education or GED
-
1-3 years of similar or related experience

Must possess working PC knowledge including word processing, spreadsheet skills and internet.

Credit Union or equivalent financial institution experience.

Must be able to ensure all servicing activity is legal and follows established practices, keeping management informed of operational issues affecting servicing activities.
