ALR Staffing - Senior Buddies is in search of Texas Certified Medication Aides. MUST be reliable, dedicated, a team player, have compassion for seniors. Attention to detail and accuracy are the hallmarks of a Medication Aide. As a Medication Aide, you will provide direct care to senior residents, in a facility setting, that follows a personalized medication and treatment service plan.
Requirements to be a Medication Aide
Medication Aide will assist in maintaining the physical, social and psychological environment that is conducive to the best interest and welfare of our residents. As per state regulations and completion of required training/certification, administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to existing treatment plans. In addition to assisting residents with medications, Medication Aide will maintain cleanliness of the med-cart, audit medication carts and provide accurate accounting of all medications.
