Basic Function: The Territory Sales Manager will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. This will be achieved by being highly sales driven and adopting an entrepreneurial approach to the assigned territory.

Duties/Responsibilities:
● Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
● Consistently provide accurate market feedback to the sales team and any other necessary departments.
● Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
● Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including but not limited to calls, follow-ups, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
● Communicates with customers and prospects to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies, suggests, and demonstrates the function and utility of products and services to meet those needs.
● Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise at any point during the sales cycle.
● Maintains communication with existing, previous and prospective customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
● Ensure customer showrooms are stocked with current displays, samples and additional equipment.
● Commits to continuing education regarding product ranges as well as industry practices and policies.
● Collaborates with all other departments such as marketing and finance to promote events, specials and company practices and policies.
● Work with industry partners and representatives to establish technical expertise.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean record (cannot have SK22 in last five years).
● Knowledge of the complete sales cycle.
● Demonstrate upselling and cross-selling abilities.
● Being able to work independently as well as in group environments.
● Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
● Excellent organization skills and negotiation skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or related fields, and/or proven sales experience.
● 3-5 years of B2B sales experience.
● 3-5 years experience in the construction or building industries preferred but not required.
Additional Job Requirements:
● Must be able to regularly lift items between 20-80 pounds.
● Must be able to learn the process of installing, sanding and finishing floors for educational purposes.
● One day in office each week, three-four days on the road.
● Occasional weekend and evening availability for customer events.
Reports To: General Manager
Pay: There is a base salary at $45k plus commission. Commission rates increase upon achieving incremental territory growth goals. Commission starts at 1% for an established territory and is uncapped thereafter.
Interview Process: We will be reviewing applicants from June 13, 2024 - June 23, 2024. Interviewing will start the week of June 24, 2024. The estimated start date for this role is July 8, 2024.
