Brand Marketing Team Lead
Reports to: Director, Performance Marketing

As the Brand Marketing Team Lead at TurnPoint Services, you'll spearhead strategy development and execution oversight for brand managers/brands within your team portfolio. The Brand Marketing Team Lead collaborates with marketing leadership to develop marketing plans, initiate campaigns, and coordinate the execution of marketing deliverables to fuel the growth of assigned brand(s). You’ll tailor center-led marketing strategies & best practices to your team’s specific market needs.
The Brand Marketing Team Lead manages a group of brand marketing managers and is responsible for strategy management, execution, and optimization across the marketing mix. The Team Lead will coach, oversee, and develop their assigned team.
You’ll be responsible for conducting comprehensive performance reporting to provide valuable insights, enabling informed decision making and strategic alignment to drive team growth & success. The role will be expected to assess and enhance demand handling efficiencies to optimize workflows and drive operational effectiveness across teams. The Team Lead will be responsible for achieving revenue & demand targets while maximizing ROI/ROAS by optimizing budget allocation and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead in the development and execution of marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with brand goals, effective demand capture, cross-selling, and ROI optimization. Analyze & communicate competitor movements to ensure strategies remain agile and responsive. Maintain an understanding of brand(s) marketing share to accurately gauge current brand(s) positioning.
- Team Management and Development: Oversee a team of Brand Marketers, ensuring alignment with best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Support brand markets to keep leadership informed of KPIs pertaining to the Customer for Lifecycle (demand generation, handling, planning, conversion, reputation management, club membership net growth and customer loyalty at macro and micro levels using dashboards, reports and presentations on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Performance Management and Optimization: Proactively monitor marketing campaigns and consumer insights for risk factors - such as competing priorities, budget constraints, underperformance, resource limitations and organizational dependencies - in order to anticipate and circumvent potential threats. Continuously evaluate, report, and optimize marketing strategies and tactics for high Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Comprehensive Performance Reporting: Regularly measure and communicate the financial impact of marketing activities, including ROI, customer acquisition cost, and key performance metrics. Compile comprehensive marketing campaign recaps to measure success and business impacts.
- Budget Oversight: Build marketing budgets to support overall brand strategy. Manage brand-level marketing budgets + PnL performance while ensuring efficient allocation for maximum ROI and alignment with growth objectives. Maintain appropriate % to revenue spend.
- Collaborative Brand Strategy Execution: Work collaboratively with brand marketers to develop and execute brand-specific marketing plans, measuring their effectiveness.
- Data Analytics and Insightful Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to drive informed marketing decisions, leveraging customer insights for targeted campaigns and enhanced customer experiences.
- Growth Identification and Channel Optimization: Collaborate with brand marketers to develop and execute high-performing growth marketing strategies to support new growth objectives (eg service area expansion, service line additions, brand-level acquisitions, etc.)
- Operational Support: Provide operational readiness support and identify areas for performance improvement. Ensure cohesive integration for newly acquired brands by supporting operation and marketing efforts during the transition to the shared service model.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements:
- Take a leadership-based consultative approach and apply advanced planning skills to present marketing ideas, raise logistical considerations, and secure buy-in from key stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels in the B2C sector
- In-depth understanding of the TurnPoint Services business model as well as the plumbing, HVAC and electrical services industry
- Ability to foster trusting and collaborative relationships with operators, colleagues and vendors

- 3-5 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
