Senior Project Manager - 4 openings
Full-time On-site position at Houston, TX
Locals or Can be from anywhere in Texas but must relocate to Houston, TX; Client will pay for complete relocation.
Must have a bachelors degree from US College (non-negotiable)
Must have experience with either Residential High Rise buildings or experience with Hospitality (building Restaurants & Hotels)
Degrees such as:
Construction Science, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, etc.
Skills Performed to Become a Senior Project Manager
Leadership
- Manage own client relationships
- Participate in the leading of a First, Second or Third Year training course
- Manage and train Project Managers
- Participate in staffing meetings
- Chair or Co-Chair a Harvey Corporate Committee
- Interview and assist with hiring of employees
- Participate in the semi-annual evaluation process of Client personnel
- Evaluate subcontractors
- Participate in running monthly Project Manager/Superintendent meetings
- Promote the Company Culture
- Promote Procore and enforce participation
- Help establish future planning including Company direction and strategies
Communication
- Develop and communicate best practices
Financial/Business
Safety
- Oversee project team participation in the safety program
- Enforce safety audit and near miss participation by all project team members
- Promote positive safety culture on projects
- Be a leader in safety on projects
Technical Knowledge/Core Values
- Perform preconstruction services
- Prepare and negotiate Prime (Owner) contract
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
