The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting all aspects of building maintenance and upkeep including, but not limited to, preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustment, and repairs on mechanical and electrical service center utilities and systems to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and within Tosca safety, quality, and business standards.
- Troubleshoot and work with our operations team to address and resolve equipment and manufacturing system obstacles and mechanical/electrical problems
- Support all aspects of building maintenance and upkeep, including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and other general building maintenance needs
- Responsible for preventive maintenance, problem-solving, and other duties as assigned
- Troubleshoot recurring equipment problems and find solutions with the maintenance team
- Responsible for understanding and implementing all pertinent OSHA and internal safety standards
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and strictly adhere to the Lockout/Tagout Program

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO
- Electrical knowledge including schematics, PLC, 480v/3 phase, D/C motors, Yaskawa A/C drives, wiring, and control logic
- Solid understanding of industrial mechanical principles including hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls
- Familiarity with boilers and MIG/TIG welding is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime according to needs
- Work hours M-F 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
