Our Loan Processing Center is looking for a motivated individual to come join their team!
The Loan Processor position is a fast paced role that will provide an opportunity to work on various consumer lending products by supporting our branch network of lenders in processing our member's loan applications. Along with processing applications and documents for our direct members, this position also works with various local dealerships to make sure we are following proper procedures when booking indirect loan applications. From this role you will learn how to read credit reports, see how loan applications are underwritten, understand the loan process from origination to funding, become confident in credit union products and services and most importantly, set yourself up for career advancement at ACU!
Please note, this position does not process mortgage loans.

Position Responsibilities
1.) Prepare loan documents for branch closings
2.) Review loan documents for funding in our centralized funding environment. Ensure that the proper loan documents are provided by the lender, and ensure proper signatures are obtained.
3.) Input Loanliner applications and MAC referred applications for the LPC lenders if needed these may be personal, credit card, recreational unit or auto loan applications..
4.) Work with and train lenders on proper funding procedures and loan documentation.
5.) Will be proficient in using the following computer software: Microsoft Office, Meridian Link and Symitar.
6.) Ensure that each collateralized loan has proper insurance coverage, as required by loan policy. Ensure that the lien is perfected on collateralized loans.
7.) Be able to give payment quotes, used car quotes, or provide any loan service he/she is authorized to perform.
8.) Assist in special loan/lending related projects as they arise.
9.) Maintain loan funding grades at or above the goal provided by management.
10.) The loan processor will work directly with ACU indirect dealers and fund the incoming auto packets provided all requirements are met.
11.) Generate loan business and loan products from indirect loan introduction calls.
12.) Opens new accounts, performs account maintenance, places outbound calls, and processes some loan applications.

Education/ Certifications/ Licenses
High school diploma
Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
