Compensation Range: $55,000 - 65,000 per year
Our client, a leading trade organization in Washington D.C., is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engagement Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with 1-3 years of experience in Marketing or Project Management to gain valuable skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and professional responses to emails from board members.
- Schedule and arrange virtual or in-person meetings, including attendance at board calls and meetings, with occasional travel required.
- Coordinate projects and materials to support board initiatives.
- Manage task lists and reminders using SharePoint and SmartSheets for efficient task tracking.
- Draft agendas and facilitate the timely flow of approvals.
- Create materials and assemble binders for meetings, orientations, and task force calls. Manage the Zoom platform for webinars and virtual public meetings.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing various board correspondences, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
- Take minutes during calls and meetings and oversee the approval process.
- Collect and review monthly timesheets for accurate record-keeping.
- Draft quarterly Board of Trustees (BOT) reports and Annual Reports for both boards.
- Draft Work Plans for both boards and facilitate the approval and review process.
- Address inquiries from the public regarding frequently asked questions on Criteria and USPAP. Track questions answered in SmartSheets and seek guidance from senior team members on complex questions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Marketing or Project Management.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Interest or experience in building or appraisals is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel for work.
