Position Overview:
The rapidly growing Global Professional Services team is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative and strategically-minded Business Intelligence (BI) professional to build and evolve our data-driven insights that empower decisions. As this is an emerging function within Professional Services, you will have your chance to make a measurable difference!
In this global role, you will be integral in architecting, building, and optimizing our data infrastructure to support sales and operational analytics and business intelligence. Paired with a Business Analyst teammate, this role requires a blend of skills in data architecture and data analysis to creatively solve complex business problems and accelerate the speed of decision making for our global teams and customers. Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...
Analyze and organize raw data, build data systems, and develop pipelines.
Utilize SQL scripting from multiple sources to create datasets for visualization.
Evaluate source application fields and build ETL/ELT integrations into Data Warehouse, ideally with Snaplogic.
Develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations using large amounts of data in Tableau and/or other data visualization tools.
Help scale BI processes using automation and scripting wherever possible.
Provide insight into leading analytic practices and foster best practices that are consistent with BI design standards.
Investigate and troubleshoot data-related issues for the business.
Expand upon existing dashboards and partner internally to continue refining and operationalizing reporting into a more centralized repository and reporting interfaces.
Support Professional Services in conducting ad hoc data analysis and reporting.
Partner with business stakeholders and align with one or more functional groups to understand key metrics and document business requirements.
Help design and document business intelligence strategies, principles, and roadmaps, specifically around Customer Experience (CX) and Professional Services.
Design business rules to analyze customer data and trigger actions for proactive customer engagement.
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM...
5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization/exploration tools.
Strong communications skills, able to break down complex problems to an understandable level that builds confidence with stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, CIS, MIS, or math preferred.
Validated experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.
Understanding of database structures in platforms like SalesForce.com, ServiceNow, and SAP; experience with Snowflake or similar cloud Data Warehouse.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of accountability and professionalism; self-directed and resourceful.
Prior exposure to web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) is beneficial.
Experience working within Professional Services is a plus.
Pay Range: USD $119,000.00 - USD $179,000.00 /Yr. Pay Transparency Statement:
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
