**Job Title:** Theatrical Carpenter

Annie's Playhouse is a leading theatre company committed to producing a diverse range of high-quality productions. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Theatrical Carpenter to join our dynamic production team. Our season includes six distinct shows, offering a unique opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects throughout the year.
**Job Summary:**
The Theatrical Carpenter will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of scenic elements for our productions. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
**Responsibilities:**
- Construct and assemble scenery, props, and set pieces based on design specifications for six different shows annually.
- Install and rig set pieces on stage, ensuring safety and stability.
- Collaborate closely with scenic designers, directors, and other production staff to achieve the desired artistic vision.
- Maintain and repair scenic elements throughout the production run.
- Assist with load-ins, load-outs, and set changes between performances.
- Follow and enforce all safety protocols and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Prior theatrical carpentry experience.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and rigging.
- Ability to bring basic designs to life
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the production schedule.
