Our private dental practice is looking to add a receptionist to our team. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, ethical, outgoing, self-motivated, and willing to learn and work at a fast pace. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in long-term employment who is looking to grow with the practice.
Hours: 7:45am-5pm Monday-Thursday
Required experience:
- Experience working in a dental practice is REQUIRED for this position. Candidates must be familiar with teeth numbers, CDT codes, and have a working understanding of dental insurance verification. Receptionist/insurance work experience is preferred but experience as a dental assistant is acceptable.

- Experience using Eaglesoft dental software is preferred but not required
Job duties include:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing.
Pay and Benefits:
