Job Summary:
As a Digital Content Developer at TinkRworks, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content specifically tailored for educational purposes. You will collaborate with educators, product designers, and our marketing team to develop engaging and effective learning materials. Your role will be crucial in driving user engagement and supporting our educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality digital content including instructional videos, learning modules, instructional materials, and multimedia content.
- Collaborate with educators and product designers to create content that aligns with educational standards and enhances learning experiences.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and adheres to educational best practices.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely publication and updates of educational materials.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and update web content and e-learning platforms.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to enhance future educational content.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in digital education and e-learning technologies.
- Occasionally assist in the creation of marketing materials to promote our educational products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Education, Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Digital Content Developer, preferably within the education or edtech industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on educational content.
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Moodle).
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and educational content strategies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web publishing.
- Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative educational content ideas.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Experience in creating and managing educational content and digital learning materials.
- Understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
