We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades who loves chasing down the latest trends, has a passion for content creation, and a keen eye for creativity. As the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator at Harry Caray's Restaurant Group, you'll spearhead the digital presence of all aspects of our renowned hospitality brand. Reporting to, and collaborating closely with, our Director of Marketing you'll create compelling content, manage social media platforms, and monitor online interactions to grow our online presence and help us stand out from the competition. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for food, hospitality, sports and digital marketing, who can effectively leverage various social media channels to connect with our target audience and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and implement a comprehensive social media content calendar that incorporates all locations and businesses to create a multifaceted social media presence, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and incorporate them into our strategies
- Dream up fun, unique, and engaging ideas for content and bring them to life
- Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and industry contacts to expand our reach and drive engagement
- Work with the Director of Marketing and restaurant management to craft and capture creative content, including videos and photos, that aligns with each brand aesthetic and voice
- Create content for special events and edit promotional copy for e-blasts, websites, and social media accounts
- Create, monitor and optimize paid social media initiatives, using strategic targeting and budgeting practices to maximize impact and minimize cost.
- Monitor and respond to online guest comments, reviews and messages promptly and effectively
- Find fresh marketing approaches to set Harry Caray’s affiliates apart from the competition and create industry buzz
- Assist with creating or updating website pages, menus, event marketing materials, and other tasks as needed.
- Assist with fulfilling online retail orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign is a must, Illustrator and Photoshop strongly preferred
- A strong eye for photography/video and graphic design
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
