The Restaurant Manager provides leadership and direction to all restaurant employees. They oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, supports employment decisions and train employees. The Restaurant Manager develops and maintains the atmosphere of the restaurant in all areas consistent with branding.
The Restaurant Manager implements corporate initiatives and directs the activities of restaurant employees to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. This requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting. It also includes working with and around food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Support all kitchen functions including food inventory, purchasing, preparation, maintenance of quality standards, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Ensures overall restaurant compliance to company standards, policies and local laws.
- Provide leadership & direction to all restaurant employees, contribute to employment decisions, new employee training and continued crew development.
- Creates crew work and training schedules.
- Acts as manager on duty, opens and closes the restaurant, manages cash handling.
- Enforces Fajita Pete’s policies and standards.
- Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed.
- Deploys crew during a shift and provides exemplary customer service.
- Utilizes reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant.
- Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, timeclock overrides, etc.)
- Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working order.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- The Restaurant Manager reports into Restaurant Owners.
Requirements for Success:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience.
- Previous experience with liquor management, sales and inventory.
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training.
- Must hold and retain proper certifications under Pennsylvania’s ServeSafe Manager and PLCB Server/ Seller requirements.
- Experienced in inventory management and future delivery forecasting.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with others.
- Has exceptional customer service skills.
- Has excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Can work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Can reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
