You will be responsible for developing solution strategies, engineering design, implementation, and operational best practices for the Hospital's Network System technology platforms, with the potential to improve patient experience, operational processes, and patient outcomes.
Here’s what you'll do:
As an experienced professional with advanced technology management, team management, and project management skills, you will provide supervisory, engineering, operational support, and problem-solving to support a large, complex institutional Information Technology system. In your role as a strategic planner, implementation leader, and change agent, you will:
· Perform server administration in MS Windows environment, including MS Exchange 2013; MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 Linux and UNIX; NetApp data storage; Active Directory and GPO management and design, VMware, and AWS/Azure cloud services plan
· Manage Data Center space and power utilization: Data Center HVAC, Power Distribution, Data Center UPS, Cable Plant Layout, and Environmental monitoring systems
· Position and design Cisco Datacenter technologies, L2/L2 and access layer infrastructure and Network security
· Build strong cross-functional partnerships across the hospital, including the Help Desk, Desktop support and Network Services teams
· Find creative ways to enhance productivity and drive company profitability
Who you are:
· You have earned a BS degree in Business Administration or Computer Science and/or other related fields
· You possess 6+ years’ experience leading IT projects within a large, enterprise-level corporate environment
· You have in-depth knowledge of VMware network architecture (VCP6 certified), Citrix Virtualization environment and Cisco Nexus equipment
· You have a solid understanding of Layer 3 and 2, with knowledge of IP protocols, firewalls, load balances, routers, switches, and IDS/IPS
· You are experienced with All Flash FAS for both SAN and NAS
· You have strong experience in software defined networking (CCNA preferred)
