Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel's front desk. The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train front desk staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage the hotel's phone system and handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the lobby area
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including night audit procedures, is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and other front desk technologies
