Wound Care Nurse
Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients with wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide wound care treatments, including cleaning, dressing changes, and application of topical medications
- Monitor and document wound healing progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Valid nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care nursing
- Knowledge of wound care best practices and evidence-based treatment modalities
- Familiarity with various types of wounds, such as pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers
- Proficient in wound assessment and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
