Expectations of the Senior Financial Analyst/Manager
The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager will work closely with all members of the team to provide valuation and advisory services to clients. The successful candidate will:
Assist firm leadership in all aspects of client engagements from proposal through solution delivery on a variety of valuation projects and services.

- Perform business, equity, intangible asset, and inventory valuations for various purposes including purchase price allocations and goodwill impairment testing.
- Remain current and knowledgeable on regulatory and accounting guidance to understand the impact on valuation methodologies or the potential for application.
- Present analysis and results in one-on-one setting, team meetings, and client presentations/conference calls.
- Review reports and other client deliverables to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Participate in meetings and calls with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare confidential information memorandums, teasers, and other materials used in Advisory projects.
- Assist with other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Responsibilities
Conduct valuation analyses using a range of methodologies, including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions analysis, and other relevant methods. Key areas of focus:
- Manage multiple valuation projects simultaneously and communicate progress accordingly with client leads.
- Assume ownership of project including the accuracy of the analysis and all client deliverables.
- Build detailed models inclusive of pro forma forecasts and other analyses.
- Analyze information provided by clients and ensure valuation models accurately reflect this information.
- Analyze complex financial data and extract relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of understanding past financial performance and to project financial probability.
- Use analytical tools and various databases to aid in the development of the valuation analysis.
- Conduct industry and economic research and analysis to support valuation and advisory activities.
- Write clear and concise reports that effectively communicate work product and results to clients.
- Report internally and externally in all client communications, both written and oral.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff as the firm grows.
Requirements & Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- MBA or graduate degree in related application, preferred
- Minimum of three 3-5 years of experience in business valuation, or related experience with direct client interaction
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting and discussing client deliverables
- Ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment with the knowledge and awareness to escalate issues when necessary
- Ability to work closely with all levels of personnel
- High level of professionalism and maturity
- Advanced to Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

We offer competitive compensation with salary and annual bonus. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
