Interested in a career in optics and photonics/meta-surfaces?
Work hands on in lab developing and fabricating TelAztec's proprietary 'optically functional nano-textures' that are nanometer scale surface textures etched directly into a variety of optical materials (e.g fused silica, diamond, sapphire, etc.) providing unsurpassed anti-reflection properties and extreme durability.
In addition to our existing and growing high volume production of nano-textured optics for commercial applications, we are continually working on next generation products through various IRAD and government funded SBIR programs, including multiple Department of Defense Phase I and Phase II SBIRs and BAA's.
We are looking for a Photonics Engineer to assist our Principle Investigator (PI) on these current (and future) SBIR/R&D programs.
Work would include hands on fabrication of samples in cleanroom environment including substrate inspection, lithography (interference lithography), plasma etching, relevant testing/inspection (optical, durability), analysis of results, report writing, etc. Previous work on SBIR programs and reporting procedures a definite benefit.
Entry level with college level physics or mechanical engineering will be considered with preference to those with some experience in photonics and/or SBIR development type work.
