Position Overview
Pulse Final Mile, LLC, a leading final mile delivery broker, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead our team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, optimizing performance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
· Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
· Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Operational Excellence
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are met.
Customer Satisfaction
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and efficient delivery services.
· Foster strong relationships with major retailers, network carrier partners, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Performance Optimization
· Oversee the performance of operations managers and provide guidance for performance enhancement.
· Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize delivery processes.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of operations.
· Act as a liaison between the company and network carrier partners, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
Compliance and Safety
· Ensure all operations comply with regulatory and licensing requirements in addition to industry standards.
· Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Budget Oversight
· Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
· Monitor financial performance and implement corrective action if necessary.
Warehouse Operations
· Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory tracking and parts management.
· Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
· Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to protect employees and inventory.
· Foster innovative thinking to continuously improve warehouse processes and workflows.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Location and Travel Requirements
The Director of Operations must reside in one of the following states:

· Pennsylvania
· New Jersey
· North Carolina

· Florida
· Ohio

· Illinois
· Tennessee
This role requires a significant amount of travel, varying throughout the year. Travel will be no less than 25% of the year and can reach up to 70%, depending on business needs and operational demands. This level of travel is essential to oversee and coordinate the carious aspects of our operations across different regions, ensuring that our standards of excellence are consistently met.
Qualifications
Key
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
· Proven track record of strategic planning and operational excellence.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· MUST be a servant leader whose needs are secondary to those who report to you.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
· Proficiency in operational software and technology solutions.
Preferred
· Master’s degree in business administration or related field.
· Experience with last-mile delivery operations.
· Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
· Ability to manage a remote workforce, while promoting company culture and values.
