Performs responsible administrative work using Crystal 2016, VERSION 14.2.8.3426. Responsible for development of reports and migrating reports between software's. Must have a working knowledge of computer software's and be able to understand and work with them. Performs advance technical planning tasks for the San Antonio State Hospital. Responsible for the Info View Security and Access Systems Coordinator, ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed. Participates in planning and development of technical training curriculum facility staff, to include advising and providing technical training for staff. Functions as a Client Records Coordinator Assistant, supervising and coordinating the rollout of CRS modules, including changes, implementations and integrity. Functions as a Crystal Report Developer, acting as a facility contact/local expert of CRS-DDS database reporting. Represents the hospital in workgroups in the development of ad hoc production databases reports. Works in partnership to help in resolving user problems. Coordinates training of Business Objects.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the patient care unit. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
Essential Job Functions:
1. 50% Works effectively with electronic record systems. Will develop and test Crystal 2016. Will convert reports developed in Crystal 2016 and export reports to PDF, Excel, and Word documents.
2. 40% Will provide training to hospital staff receiving exported reports in the manipulation of data in Excel , if needed. Needs to be familiar with data entered into AVATAR. Will communicate with staff on report needs and determine what information needs to be assembled and extracted. Must be able to effectively express self in oral and written communication skills.
3. 35% Will function as administrator of Business Objects for CRS reports for the San Antonio State Hospital. Will need to be able to save Crystal 2016 reports to Business Objects Enterprise Environment. Will be responsible for configuring Crystal 2016 reports for running within the Business Objects environment. Responsible for setting up staff and assigning roles in Business Objects environment. Develop training material/manuals to teach staff on Infoview. Monitor all Crystal Reports for status of success or failure in running.
4. 5% Will be responsible for resetting CRS passwords for facility staff and other state facilities/department staff.
5. 10% Other duties as assigned.
6. Attends work on a regular basis and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
