Entertainment Director for Multifamily Properties
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Entertainment Director to lead the entertainment and community engagement efforts at our two multifamily properties in Fredricksburg, NC. This unique role requires a charismatic individual who can be the face of our community events, ensuring residents have a vibrant and engaging living experience. Our properties consist of one larger property with 350 units and another smaller one with 280 units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Develop, organize, and execute a variety of events, including social gatherings, themed parties, and cultural activities.
- Act as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for all events, engaging with residents and ensuring a lively atmosphere.
- Coordinate combined events for both properties when appropriate
- Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, understanding their interests to tailor events that enhance community spirit.
- Be present and visible at all major events, working the crowd and creating memorable experiences.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Contact and manage vendors for events, including entertainers, food and beverage suppliers, and decorators.
- Handle logistics such as ordering food and beverages, setting up venues, and managing event budgets.
- Social Media & Marketing:
- Manage social media accounts for both properties, creating content that builds excitement and engagement.
- Promote events through various platforms to maximize attendance and community involvement.
- Resident Services:
- Provide a diverse range of activities that cater to all age groups from toddlers to seniors.
- Be a resource for residents, offering concierge-style services to enhance their living experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an entertainer or MC, with the ability to engage and captivate large audiences.
- Strong event planning skills, with the ability to handle all aspects of event management from concept to execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for building community spirit.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Previous experience in the cruise industry is highly desirable.
- A montage or portfolio showcasing past entertainment and event planning experience is required.
