CraneWerks a full-service material handling company that specializes in in overhead cranes and hoists, is looking for an admin to support operations in precuring parts and quoting.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- This is an administrative and customer service role to support our internal operations/service departments.
- Provide superior customer service in every interaction in a fast paced environment.
- Use portals and price sheets and parts manuals to obtain parts pricing
- Work with suppliers to obtain parts with best pricing and lead times in mind.
- Work closely with the service manager to quote repairs found during inspections and service calls
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers/contractors
- Work with Service and Installation coordinators to ensure parts are in for service and installation jobs
- Develop a system to streamline quoting of standard services
- General administrative office work
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Enter call/quote/order information into the CRM system
- Assist inside sales as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized, with attention to detail, and great time management skills
- Proactive with consistent follow through
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and follow jobs through to completion
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- A commitment to completing tasks correctly and on-time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Coachable with a growth mindset
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of Customer Service, planning or purchasing with the manufacturing or service industry is a plus
