The primary function of the Insides Sales Executive (ISE) is to increase sales productivity by supporting the Sales Team with account management, vendor relations, and internal processes. The ISE will work with Sales Team leaders to develop, plan, and implement successful sales strategies.
What you’ll own
Internal Processes and Procedures

The ISE will follow documented internal procedures and help streamline and perfect procedures when applicable. Specific tasks include:

Follow Standard Operating Procedures
-
Communicate effectively to other team members
-
Develop and deliver accurate proposals and responses
-
Report Contract Sales Accurately
-
Attend technology trainings
Account Management
-
It is incumbent on the ISE to understand the unique characteristic of supporting our client base. Our key verticals that exist today are Government, Education, and Medical (GEM). Specific tasks will include:

Developing relationships with clients
-
Creating accurate quotes
-
Following up with Client Requests
-
Working with Account Manager, Inside Sales Manager, and Renewals Manager to maintain accurate forecast.

Working with Presales Engineers to develop client solutions.
Vendor Relations
-
It is incumbent on the ISE to learn, understand, and utilize partner programs, promotions, and incentives. Our key partners as they exist today are Cisco Systems, NetApp, HP, Pure, Palo Alto and VMware. The ISE must understand how the partner relationship with each manufacturer is structured and the necessary components of each. Specific tasks include:

Deal Registration (Cisco, NetApp, HP and VMware, Storage Craft, VEEAM, Trip lite)

Sales Education for product lines

K-12 Specific opportunities/ discounts

Distribution Procedures and Resources
-
The ISE should understand the procedures of specific distributors. Our key distributors are Ingram micro, Synnex and Arrow. The ISE should maintain good relations and contact with the sales teams at these distributors as well as understand other resources available. Specific tasks include:

Receive and document accurate quoting
-
Utilize presales support if necessary
-
Use valid pricing information to provide quotes to customers.
What we’re looking for
-
High school diploma/GED.
-
Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Strong listening and sales skills.

Ability to achieve targets.
What to expect
Office environment: prolonged sitting at a desk and using a computer, must be able to lift at least 15 pounds and be able to work in an office with other employees.
Sales: 10% travel required
